We used J.R.’s Custom Decks for a complete deck tear down and rebuild. The project management from J.R. was exceptional from start to finish and his crew was professional and punctual. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to build a custom deck.

We used JR’s custom decks to remove and replace old existing wood deck with a new TREX composite deck. The entire project was efficient and we enjoyed the highly skilled crew during the week installation process. The price quoted was the best of the 3 obtained and we are completely happy we chose them. We used Toasted Sand with a Saddle railing system. I highly recommend them if you are seriously considering a new deck project. They are a Platinum rated installer on the TREX website.

We called JR to replace a two year old deck built as part of a landscaping project. JR worked with us to design a strong, well-built structure that compliments our home and creates enjoyable outdoor living space. The Trex materials look and feel great! JR’s team demonstrated great attention to detail and was responsive to our questions. Highly recommended!

I recently hired JR’s Custom Decks to design and build our new Trex deck, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. After researching and comparing eight different installers, JR stood out immediately for his professionalism, transparency, and depth of knowledge. From the first consultation, JR took the time to understand exactly what I wanted — not just in terms of layout, but functionality, materials, lighting, and overall design flow. His attention to detail is outstanding, and it shows in every line and angle of the finished product. The workmanship is flawless: the boards are perfectly aligned, the railings are sturdy and level, and every fastener is hidden cleanly. The installation went exactly as planned no delays, no hidden costs, and no surprises. JR’s crew was punctual, respectful, and clearly experienced. They kept the work area clean each day and treated my home and yard with care. The finished deck is nothing short of stunning solid construction, beautiful lighting, and seamless integration with the home. The price was very fair for the quality delivered, and the craftsmanship easily matches or exceeds high-end showcase builds. I can confidently say this was the best contractor experience I’ve ever had. If you’re considering any deck installation or upgrade, JR’s Custom Decks should be at the top of your list. Professional, honest, and simply the best in the business

I recently hired J.R. Custom Decks to rebuild the lower portion of my deck and extend it across the full length of my house, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional—showing up on time, working efficiently, and treating my property with great care. The removal of the old deck and installation of the new one were handled meticulously, with minimal disruption. What really stood out was their honesty and integrity. After evaluating the upper deck, J.R. informed me that the existing substructure was still structurally sound and that there was no need to spend extra money replacing it. Instead, his team took the extra step of waterproofing the older substructure to ensure its long-term durability—a thoughtful touch that speaks volumes about their craftsmanship and commitment to quality. The project was completed right on schedule, just as promised, and the pricing was highly competitive. I deeply appreciated the transparency in pricing and the fact that there were no surprise costs along the way. I wholeheartedly recommend J.R. Custom Decks for anyone considering a deck rebuild. Their professionalism, workmanship, and integrity are unmatched.

My wife and I decided to have a composite deck built to replace the old wooden deck that was rotting and required just too much maintenance. JR and his crew showed up on time every day and worked hard in the heat to complete on schedule. We were very pleased with the finished product and JR’s company exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend them for a job like this.
